Austin, TX – Ryan Sanders Sports Services (RS3) announced today that it will continue to increase its efforts to provide fans with quality food options by serving meat products from humanely-raised animals and offering vegetarian dishes at Dell Diamond, home of the Round Rock Express (Texas Rangers’ Triple-A affiliate)
RS3 currently partners with Nolan Ryan Beef to provide fans with all-natural, all-beef hotdogs and hamburgers. Cattle in the Nolan Ryan Beef program are raised on natural grasslands and fed a diet of high quality grains. In compliance with the Food and Drug Administration’s labeling of “all-natural,” Nolan Ryan Beef is minimally processed with no artificial ingredients added.
The RS3 brand is passionate about using products that limit the use of antibiotics and fillers. The products found at the Metro Deli include chicken, turkey and USDA Choice Angus roast beef that are all gluten-free, MSG-free and contain no artificial ingredients. All meats have been humanely raised on a 100% vegetarian diet. These meats will be featured on flavored or gluten-free tortillas.
New for 2015, Harvestland chicken tenders and grilled chicken breast sandwiches will be available at Dell Diamond. Harvestland chicken products are humanely raised on an all-vegetarian diet with no antibiotics. Their products are made with only all-natural chicken and never contain animal by-products.
RS3 is proud to include a hearty vegetarian meal to the food lineup for 2015: the Portobello sandwich. This sandwich features a Portobello mushroom marinated in Greek vinaigrette, grilled and topped with pepper jack cheese, arugula and chipotle mayo served on a freshly baked bun. This sandwich joins a returning vegetarian lineup that includes salad options from local Taylor Farms, grilled veggie quesadillas, Papa Murphy’s cheese pizza and a grilled cheese sandwich. Fans on the suite level will also have access to a grilled vegetarian combo featuring veggie burgers and dogs.
Staying true to its values of serving the highest quality products at affordable prices, RS3 will absorb any cost related to the introduction of these food providers and menu options so fans will not see a price increase related to the new products.
“Our number one objective in creating the RS3 foodservice division was to shake up the idea of what our guests think when they consider what ‘stadium food’ might mean,” said George King, president of RS3. “Within the markets we operate in, it’s more important now than ever for patrons to know where their food is resourced. That ideal shouldn’t stop at the ballpark. Our goal is for the fan experience to continue to improve and exceed expectations. Having a diversified quality offering is essential to that end.”
The Express opens the 2015 season at Dell Diamond on Friday, April 17. All of these new menu options will be available for purchase on Opening Day.
