River Cats plan new approach to food for ’17 – Sacramento Business Journal

Details are still being finalized, but Sacramento River Cats officials said they will overhaul stadium eats for the 2017 season.

“It’s going to be a pretty dramatic conversion,” said Jay Kudla, a vice president of food and beverage operations for Round Rock, Texas-based RS3. The firm is consulting with the River Cats on the overhaul, which covers everything from hiring a stadium chef to redesigning the food stands to developing a new menu. One change: Don’t call them “concession” stands anymore.
